For this long-standing client, we were tasked with transforming their new Cape Town apartment into a vibrant, welcoming sanctuary - balancing the building’s naturally darker shell with bursts of colour, custom copper detailing, and carefully curated art. Our involvement from the outset allowed us to plan every element to perfection, ensuring that each piece of custom furniture fit seamlessly and every corner was thoughtfully considered.

The entrance hall sets the tone with sleek finishes, ambient lighting, and a gallery of curated artwork, inviting guests into a home where every detail is intentional. The open-plan kitchen features dark, streamlined cabinetry, integrated appliances, and an expansive island - ideal for both everyday living and entertaining.

The dining area, with its contemporary furnishings and sophisticated lighting, flows effortlessly into the living room. Here, plush seating and layered textures invite relaxation, while floor-to-ceiling windows frame breath-taking views and fill the space with natural light. Each bedroom was designed to offer a unique retreat while maintaining a cohesive theme throughout the apartment. The master bedroom exudes tranquillity with soothing tones, premium bedding, and bespoke storage solutions. The guest bedroom is a serene haven, featuring soft textiles and contemporary art, while the third bedroom - with twin beds, cheerful accents, and practical storage—balances youthful energy with timeless style. For the smallest bedroom, a bold copper wallpaper and full-length curtain along the passage wall create a sense of balance and drama, compensating for the lack of natural light.

Custom-made furniture, copper detailing on the brinks unit and entrance table, and carefully selected, custom-framed artwork elevate every space. Window treatments, including blinds and sheers, were chosen to soften the harsh afternoon sun and provide privacy without sacrificing style.

The bathrooms are spa-inspired sanctuaries, featuring sleek grey stone tiles, contemporary fixtures, and warm wood cabinetry. Minimalist accessories and thoughtful lighting create a tranquil, luxurious atmosphere.
